Yaboo Oyabu has had a diverse range of work experiences. Yaboo started their career at NTT DOCOMO, Inc. in 2008, where they worked as a Researcher Associate before transitioning to the role of Research Engineer. In this position, they developed Mobile Spatial Statistics (MSS), obtaining several patents and publishing research papers. Yaboo also won the CEATEC Award 2011 Grand Prix in the Safe and secure network category. After leaving NTT DOCOMO, Yaboo joined Google in 2015 as a Customer Solutions Engineer, where they helped customers optimize their use of Google Ads. They received four awards for their problem-solving abilities in this role. Yaboo then moved on to become a Machine Learning Specialist for Google Cloud, where they provided technical advice and best practices to customers and gave presentations at various events. In 2020, Yaboo joined Applied Intuition, where their role is currently unspecified.

Yaboo Oyabu completed their education at Keio University. Yaboo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Information from Keio University in the field of Information Technology, from 2002 to 2006. Afterward, they pursued further education at Keio University's Graduate School of Media and Governance, specializing in Information Technology. Yaboo attended the Graduate School from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Yaboo Oyabu has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. Yaboo completed the Self-Driving Car Engineer Nanodegree at Udacity in August 2020. Prior to that, they completed the Intro to Self-Driving Cars Nanodegree in November 2019. In August 2018, they completed the Deep Learning Specialization offered by Coursera. In August 2017, they completed the Machine Learning Specialization, also offered by Coursera. Furthermore, Yaboo Oyabu completed the Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree at Udacity in December 2016. Yaboo also holds a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera, which they obtained in April 2016. Lastly, they obtained the Cloudera Certificated Hadoop Developer certification from Cloudera in April 2010.
