Chris Clayton

Chris Clayton has worked in the manufacturing and technology industries since 2008. From 2008 to 2011, they were an Account Manager for CDW. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Sales Account Manager for Echo Global Logistics. From 2012 to 2017, they were the Senior Manager of Manufacturing Operations for Strategic Manufacturing Solutions, LLC. Since 2017, they have been an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer and Project Engineer for Applied Manufacturing Technologies, where they support a number of different projects in a number of different capacities including project management, data collection and analysis, concept development and brainstorming, solutions reporting and presentation including technical writing, and researching innovative developments and advancements in robotics and automation. Chris also has experience as a Robot Simulation Engineer, contracted out to Comau LLC in Southfield, MI, where they supported 4 GM body in white projects from design phase through floor build to production using Process Simulate software.

Chris Clayton attended the University of Michigan from 2002 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in English.
