Michelle Mapp Cooper has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Starting in 1991, they held various positions at Eastman Chemical Company for nearly a decade. From 2000 to 2008, Michelle worked at Applied Materials in roles such as Sr. Manufacturing Manager and Manufacturing General Manager. Michelle Mapp then pursued an Executive MBA at Baylor University from 2008 to 2011. After completing their degree, Michelle returned to Applied Materials, where they served as Director and later Manufacturing General Manager. In 2013, they joined SunPower Corporation as Senior Director Global Planning and Logistics before being promoted to Vice President Supply Chain. Michelle rejoined Applied Materials in 2016 as ERP Transformation Operations Leader and later progressed to Managing Director - Worldwide Operations. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Culture of Inclusion at Applied Materials.
Michelle Mapp Cooper earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Polymer Science and Engineering from The University of Southern Mississippi in 1991. Michelle Mapp later pursued an executive Master of Business Administration (eMBA) from Baylor University - Hankamer School of Business, completing their degree between 2008 and 2010.
