Oktawian Sobieraj

Oktawian Sobieraj is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as a System Engineer at Applied Materials since October 2017, Oktawian previously held the position of Member of Technical Staff (MTS) and EUV Mask Integrator at GLOBALFOUNDRIES from July 2015 to September 2017. This role involved inspection definition for manufacturing, EUV pellicle process integration, and overlay process development for advanced technologies. Oktawian's earlier experience includes significant leadership roles at Photronics, where responsibilities spanned Senior Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Manager, and Lead Process Engineer. Prior positions at Ball Semiconductor and Alcoa further contributed to a strong foundation in process development and engineering. Oktawian holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Lakehead University, with studies during 1991-1996 and additional coursework in 1997-1998.
