Wei Cheen Law

Wei Cheen Law has extensive work experience in engineering roles. They started their career in 2005 at Intel Technology Sdn Bhd Malaysia, where they worked as a Process & Equipment Engineer. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as an Electro-mechanical Engineer at Schneider Electric South East Asia (HQ) Pte Ltd. They then joined GLOBALFOUNDRIES Singapore Pte Ltd as an Equipment Engineer from 2010 to 2013. Wei Cheen Law's experience at Illumina began in 2013, where they held multiple roles including Equipment Engineer II, Senior Equipment Engineer, and Staff Equipment Engineer. In their most recent role, starting in 2022, they are currently a Lead Engineer at Applied Materials. In this role, they are responsible for developing and implementing methods, operation sequences, and processes in the fabrication of parts and assemblies. They also manage manufacturing engineering projects and coordinate with other engineering functions.

Wei Cheen Law received a Bachelor's Degree of Engineering and a Graduate Diploma of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with Design from the University of Sunderland in 2007-2008. Prior to that, Wei Cheen Law acquired a Higher/Graduate Diploma of Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) in Mechanical Engineering from Penang Skills Development Centre in 2001-2004.
