Wyatt Andresen

Wyatt Andresen is a Staff Research Scientist specializing in Algorithm Deployment at ARA since October 2022, following a role as a Research Assistant at the Construction Automation and Robotics Lab at North Carolina State University from September 2021 to August 2022. During this time, Wyatt completed a Master's Thesis on "Multi-Agent Visual SLAM," developing a centralized SLAM system and innovative algorithms that enhanced map merging techniques while maintaining real-time performance. Wyatt's experience also includes a position as a Junior Software Engineer at Leidos, where contribution to web application development and implementation of quality assurance practices took place. Prior work at Appalachian State University as a Teaching Assistant, Student Lab Developer, and Grader provided foundational experience in educational support and software development. Wyatt holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from Appalachian State University.
