Mark W. Bakker

Mark W. Bakker has extensive work experience in sales and business development roles in the field of industrial cyber security. Mark W. has been the Sales Director at Applied Risk B.V since 2019, where they lead a team of professionals in providing innovative solutions for critical infrastructure security. Mark also worked as a Consultant as an Entrepreneur since 2013. Prior to that, they were the Sales Manager for Big Data and Security at Atos from January 2019 to August 2019. Mark also worked at Applied Risk B.V as the International Sales & Business Development Manager from April 2017 to December 2018. Mark W. has experience working in other cybersecurity companies such as Fox-IT and Schneider Electric, where they held sales executive roles. Mark has also worked at Cisco Systems and Baumuller in business development and sales management positions, respectively.

Mark W. Bakker received their education at various institutions. In 1985, they attended the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Commercial Economics in 1988. Following this, in 1993, they pursued further studies at the same institution and completed a post-BBA program in General Business (Bedrijfskunde) in 1994. Later, in 2015, Mark enrolled in the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, where they earned a Diploma in Business Management & Leadership with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General in 2016.
