Karen Considine

Karen Considine has diverse work experience in the fields of sales support, market development, strategic alliances, and field application specialist. Karen is currently a Sales Support Manager at Applied Silver, Inc. since April 2021. Previously, they worked as a Production Assistant at Recchiuti Confections in November-December 2019. Before that, they held the position of Senior Manager, Market Development at Thermo Fisher Scientific from May 2009 to March 2018. Karen also served as a Strategic Alliance Manager at Affymetrix from 2005 to 2009. Furthermore, they held various roles at Affymetrix from 1996 to 2004, including Applications Lab & Call Center Manager, FAS Manager, Program Manager FAS distributor network, European Senior FAS lead, and Senior Field Application Specialist. Prior to that, they worked as a Field Application Specialist at Applied Biosystems from 1993 to 1996 and as a research assistant at Stratagene from 1990 to 1993.

Karen Considine obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from Smith College, where they attended from 1981 to 1985. Karen then pursued a Master of Science degree in Molecular Biology at the University of Texas Graduate School Biomedical Sciences at Houston between 1985 and 1988.
