Sam Phlegar

Sam Phlegar has extensive experience in engineering and management, currently serving as a Senior Principal at Geosyntec Consultants since August 2021. Prior to this role, Sam Phlegar was the President of Applied Technology and Management from June 2009 and held the position of Senior Vice President at Applied Technology and Management, Inc. from August 1989 to June 2010, overseeing the Marine Division and specializing in coastal engineering and marina development. Sam Phlegar also worked as a Senior Engineer leading the Marina Team in worldwide waterfront development from September 1994 to March 1998 and began the career as a QC Supervisor at Tindall Concrete Products from June 1983 to June 1987. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Coastal Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University.
