Brad Black is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in hypersonic ground test facilities and nuclear engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering Solutions at Applied Technology Solutions, Inc., Brad leads a team focused on tackling complex engineering challenges. Previously, as Chief Engineer at Integration Innovation, Inc., Brad managed multiple hypersonic projects and played a key role in developing the Project Phoenix hypersonic wind tunnel. Brad's expertise spans various roles at Integration Innovation and Lockheed Martin, where significant contributions included redesign efforts yielding substantial cost savings and enhanced facility performance. Additionally, Brad has experience in nuclear engineering, having led fuel reload design teams at Duke Energy Corporation and conducted research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, culminating in a Master's thesis on stress corrosion cracking in nuclear fuel storage canisters.
