Nimila Hiranya Samarasinghe

Nimila Hiranya Samarasinghe has had a varied career in the tech industry. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Graphic Designer at The Logo Patrol and as a Designer at EYERIS Creations. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern and Associate Software Engineer at hSenid Mobile Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. During this time, they were also affiliated with Apptizer Inc. In 2017, they moved to Applova Inc. where they worked as a Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Associate Tech Lead, and Tech Lead. Her role as Software Engineer included working on a platform for SMBs to generate mobile application store fronts for their own business.

Nimila Hiranya Samarasinghe's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Westminster from 2013 to 2017. Nimila Hiranya also attended the University of Washington in 2016, studying Education. From 2012 to 2013, they attended CIMA, studying Accounting and Business/Management. Nimila Hiranya attended Richmond College from 1999 to 2011, studying Science. Additionally, they have obtained a Competent Communicator and Competent Leadership certification from Toastmasters International in 2016, a Certificate in Business Accounting (CIMA) from CIMA in 2013, and a Certificate in Master Java Developer from IJSE-Institute of Software Engineering in 2013.
