Will Verkaik

Will Verkaik has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 1991, they founded Axcel Solutions and held various roles as a software developer, project manager, and architect until 1997. Following this, they co-founded Chariots.com in 1997 and served as the Director of IT, overseeing e-commerce operations and providing internet solutions for business relationships. In 2001, they joined Trader Corporation as a Senior Development Manager until 2006. Subsequently, they worked at Yellow Pages Group as a Program Director for Trader Corporation Publishing Technology. From 2008 to 2017, Will served as the Managing Director of Digital Development and Design at Metroland. In 2017, they joined SynapIN as the Head of Information Technology, specializing in strategic consulting and leveraging Blockchain for business solutions. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Information Systems and Technology at ApplyBoard, starting in 2020.

Will Verkaik attended McMaster University from 1983 to 1986, where they studied Civil Engineering. Will also pursued additional education at Wilfrid Laurier University in Advanced Executive Management and at Sheridan College in Accounting & Business Administration. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including training in Unconscious Bias, Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, and SharePoint workflows through LinkedIn. Will has also attended various training schools for further development.
