Dan Kim

Dan Kim has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Dan started their career in 2011 as an Information Technology Technician and Office Manager at Annandale Medical Associates, PC. In this role, they were responsible for network troubleshooting, resolving hardware and software issues, and assisting with network connectivity problems.

In 2016, Dan joined Greystone IT, Inc as a Level 1 Support Specialist. Here, they handled network and software application password resets, resolved computer and printer issues, and provided support for mobile devices such as cell phones, tablets, and hotspots.

In 2018, Dan moved on to the Department of The Interior OCIO in Washington, DC. Dan initially served as a Desktop Support Technician Level 2, where they owned and resolved IT incidents and requests, ensuring that service-related issues were addressed within established SLAs. Later, they transitioned to the role of a Desktop System Administrator, where they continued to manage and resolve IT incidents until their departure in 2023.

Currently, Dan is working as a System Engineer at ApplyLogic Consulting Group, LLC, a position they started in March 2023.

Dan Kim attended ECPI University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Cyber and Network Security. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the CompTIA A+ Certified in June 2016 and the CompTIA Security+ Certified in July 2018. Dan also acquired various certifications from Microsoft, including MCSE: Mobility in March 2019, MCSA: Windows 10 in February 2019, and MD-100: Windows Client in November 2022, among others. Additionally, they received certifications from Cisco and HDI, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) in January 2020 and HDI Desktop Support Technician in December 2018.
