Eric Day

Eric Day has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Eric is currently working as a Development Team Lead at Neurotrack, where they are responsible for overseeing the front-end user facing applications. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Web Engineer at Neurotrack, developing digital cognitive health solutions.

Before joining Neurotrack, Eric served as the Director of Software Engineering at Comet, an all-in-one college app companion. Eric was involved in the design and concept of the project and worked towards achieving a stable Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

Eric also worked as a Software Developer at FYidoctors, where they maintained and updated the public website using Laravel PHP framework and Asgard CMS. Additionally, they have experience as a Software Developer at Blackline Safety.

Outside of their professional roles, Eric engaged in side projects involving the Hadoop ecosystem and developed an app in Node.js that utilized the Twitter API and Google Maps API.

In their earlier career, Eric held the position of General Manager/Entrepreneur at Sandi S.A., a family-owned English-only bookstore. Eric was responsible for managing the bookstore's operations and software/IT requirements. Prior to that, they served as an IT Regional Manager at Axtel, where they led the implementation of software systems and managed IT issues.

Eric began their career at Grupo REFORMA, starting as a Software Development Analyst and eventually becoming a Revenue-generating Systems Software Manager. In this role, they managed all revenue systems and led a team to set up systems for newspaper launch.
