Ernest Kwong

Ernest Kwong has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Ernest began their career at AT&T, where they held various managerial roles in finance and offer management. Ernest then served as Deputy General Manager at Sunco Technologies Limited before co-founding Kendosoft Limited. At Kendosoft, they managed the delivery and maintenance of solutions for public sector clients. Notably, they played a vital role in stopping the spread of the SARS outbreak in 2003 by developing the Major Incident Investigation and Disaster Support System for the HK Police Force. Ernest also led the development of the most visited website of the HK SAR Govt. at the time for the Labour Department. After their tenure at Kendosoft, Ernest held roles at PCCW and The Hong Kong Jockey Club, where they managed IT projects and developed a cross-platform mobile betting application. Ernest then joined Designercity (HK) Ltd as Director of Solutions and Technology, overseeing technical operations and the formulation of technical solutions. Prior to their current role as Technology Director at Appnovation, Ernest served as Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Technology Officer at TFI Digital Media Limited, overseeing daily operations, project delivery, and the development of live streaming encoder products. In their most recent role, Ernest continues to apply their expertise and leadership in the technology field.

Ernest Kwong completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with Electronic Engineering at UCL from 1987 to 1990.
