Jessica Carty

Jessica Carty currently serves as an Associate at Appoint, starting in February 2023, where the focus is on connecting top talent with recruitment needs across Africa. Prior to this role, Jessica held multiple positions at Valenture Institute between October 2020 and February 2023, including Talent Acquisition Manager, Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Talent Specialist, and Talent Scout. Jessica's experience also includes a role as a Learning & Development Coordinator at GetSmarter, a brand of 2U, Inc., from September 2017 to November 2019, where responsibilities included supporting employee development initiatives. Jessica began the career as a Talent Acquisition Intern at GetSmarter in early 2017. Academically, Jessica holds a BA in Human Resource Management from Stellenbosch University, a BCom Honours in Industrial and Organisational Psychology from the University of South Africa, and has completed various professional courses at the University of Cape Town.
