Paul Reid

Paul Reid has over 25 years of experience in the tech industry. In 1995, they began their career as a Software Developer for Conic Systems, where they worked on the ConicGIS mobile mapping product. In 1998, they founded C3T Limited, an Edinburgh-based consultancy to provide software development and consultancy services in the geospatial technologies market. In 2000, they founded Sigma Seven, Part of Capita plc, a company to provide map-based software solutions within the Utilities sector. In 2016, they became the Chair of Coach Logic and a Founding Partner of Augmentors Partners, supporting start up and scale up tech businesses in Scotland. In 2017, they took on the roles of Non Executive Director and Interim CEO (Maternity Cover) at Appointedd. In 2018, they became the CEO & Founder of Trickle, a simple app that helps turn listening to and acting upon employee feedback into an everyday habit. In 2020, they became a Non Executive Director at Pogo Studio, and in 2022 they took on the role of Advisory Board Member for the CivTech® Programme.

Paul Reid attended Edinburgh Napier University from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering (Hons). Paul's field of study was Software Engineering.
