Omar El-Geddawy

Omar El-Geddawy is a Model Based Design Engineer at APPRAID TECH since October 2022, with prior experience as a System Engineer at مبادرة رواد النيل from June 2022 to October 2022 and as the Director of Content Development at Handasi from April 2021 to August 2022. Omar served in the Egyptian Air Force as a Mechanical R&D Engineer and Maintenance Engineer from April 2020 to March 2022. Additionally, a research internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras focused on Aerospace Vehicle Guidance occurred in 2018. Omar contributed as a Control Engineer for the Egyptian Universities Cube Satellite project, which aimed for a 2019 launch. Other roles include organizing committee member and tour guide at the Zewail City Science Festival, chairperson for the Zewail City Flight Club, and various trainee positions at the National Authority for Remote Sensing & Space Sciences and the Aerospace Research Center. Omar holds an undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering from Zewail City of Science and Technology and completed a science-focused high school education at Talaat El-Sayed Azhar Secondary School.
