Jeremy Barnes has worked in the technology industry since 2002. jeremy began their career at SEI, Inc. as an Architect, where they served as the technical architect and manager on several state and local government projects. In 2004, they moved to Thomson Financial as Director of Development. Two years later, they joined Medullan, Inc. as Technical Architect. In 2008, they became Director of Development at Kantar Retail and also began doing independent contract work focused in .NET technologies. From 2010 to 2017, they worked at Apprio Inc. as Director of Technology Architecture and Quality. In 2017, they took on the role of Vice President, Technology at Sopheon. jeremy then moved to ApprioHealth and Apprio Inc. in 2023, where they currently serve as Chief Technology Officer for both companies.

Jeremy Barnes has a Master of Science in Management of Information Technology from the McIntire School of Commerce at UVA, which they obtained in 2013. jeremy also has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, which they obtained in 1999. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Product-Led Growth Certified from ProductLed in 2022, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate from Microsoft in 2022, MCSA: Web Applications - Certified 2018 from Microsoft in 2018, MCSD: App Builder - Certified 2018 from Microsoft in 2018, Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in 2012, and SAFe Agilist Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
