Wellington Junior Chirigo

Wellington Junior Chirigo has a diverse work experience starting in 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Maintenance Assistant at Winona Camps for two months. Later that year, they became a Cloakroom attendant at SANKEYS MANCHESTER LTD for three months. In 2017, they worked as a systems engineer intern at GE Aviation for one year, where they were involved in developing and testing software for Boeing's 777x remote Data Concentrator. In 2018, they had a temporary role at Adecco for one year. In 2019, they joined HSBC as a Global Technology Graduate and later transitioned to a role in the core Google Cloud Platform team, where they ensured the security and compliance of Google Cloud Platform according to Cyber Security requirements. In January 2023, they joined Appsbroker as a Platform Engineer.

Wellington Junior Chirigo received a National Senior Certificate from Piet Retief Highschool between 2010 and 2014. Subsequently, from 2015 to 2019, they attended The University of Manchester, where they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, they achieved the following: Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation, Reliable Cloud Infrastructure: Design and Process, Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Scaling and Automation, and Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Core Services, all from Coursera in 2020. In 2019, they completed the Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure and Business Transformation with Google Cloud courses, also from Coursera. Furthermore, Wellington obtained the Professional Cloud Developer certification from Google in 2023 and became a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect in 2020.
