Ege Can Taşlıçukur has work experience in various roles at different companies.

At Appsilon, they worked as an R/Shiny Developer from March 2023 onwards.

Prior to that, they served as a Data Scientist at 24 Saatte İş from January 2019 to February 2023. In this role, they built and deployed various algorithms and models, such as a feed algorithm for candidate predictions, a job position similarity algorithm, a random forest NLP model for detecting malicious users, churn prediction models, and a "Match Score" algorithm. Ege Can also integrated and designed Salesforce, conducted KPI analysis, and studied user behavior within the app.

Ege Can also worked as a Masterclass Intern at Türkiye İş Bankası in July 2018. During this internship, they researched digital lending trends and created a dashboard to display interest rates of other banks using Python, which facilitated quicker pricing actions for the bank.

Ege Can Taşlıçukur completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Özyeğin University, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. In 2020, they obtained certifications in "Mathematics for Machine Learning: Linear Algebra" and "Mathematics for Machine Learning: Multivariate Calculus" from Coursera. Additionally, they achieved the "Winner of Data Analytics Case Competition" certification from Marsh Turkey in April 2019 and the "Eureko Student Business Challenge" certification from Honorair Consulaat-Generaal van Turkije, Leiden in October 2018. Ege Can also holds the Bloomberg Quantitative Finance Certificate from Özyeğin University.
