Malino Oda

Malino Oda is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering leadership and team building. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Apptio, an IBM Company, since June 2023, Malino previously held the same title at Sync Computing, where responsibilities included engineering direction, fundraising, and implementation of security protocols. Malino's career includes significant roles at Apptio, focused on cloud SaaS offerings and data science, as well as leadership positions at Cloudability, Honor, and earlier as CTO and consultant. Malino has a proven track record of growing engineering teams and driving innovation across various companies, supported by a BA in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
