Asif Karel

Asif Karel has extensive work experience in the field of product management and consultancy. Asif currently holds the position of Director of Product Management at AppViewX, starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Qualys, where they held various roles including Director of Product Management for SSL Labs & Cloud Platform and Certificate Management from May 2017 to February 2022. Before joining Qualys, they worked as a Services Solutions Manager at Venafi from October 2015 to May 2017. Asif also had experience as a Solutions Architect / Mentor at CipherCloud from November 2013 to October 2015. Asif started their career at VeriSign, Inc. as a Consulting Manager, where they worked from May 2001 to August 2010. Before entering the corporate world, they gained experience as a Web Applications Engineer and Consultant at Hi-Tek Consulting Services Inc. from June 2000 to March 2001. Asif also served as the Head of Product at DBS Internet Pvt. Ltd. from October 1997 to May 2000. Asif co-founded Nirvana Software in May 1995, where they worked as a Co-founder until October 1997.
