Liying Wang

Liying Wang has a diverse and extensive work experience. Liying started their career as a Court Clerk at the Taiwan Shihlin District Court in 1999 and later became a Senior Court Clerk at the Taipei High Administrative Court. In 2006, they transitioned to become an Attorney-At-Law at Formosa Transnational Attorneys at Law. Liying then joined HTC in 2010 as a Senior Legal Counsel and worked there until 2016. In the same year, Liying Wang held multiple roles simultaneously, including being a Founding Attorney at Next and Nexus Law Office, Vice Secretary-General at the Taiwan Internet and E-Commerce Association, and General Counsel and Head of Public Policy at AppWorks. Liying'smost recent position, starting in 2017, was as the Deputy Chairwoman of the IP and Innovation Committee at the Taipei Bar Association.

Liying Wang obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from National Chengchi University in 1998. Liying then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2008. In addition to their educational qualifications, Liying Wang has certifications from the New York State Bar and the Taipei Bar.
