Joey Khalid has a strong background in corporate development and business development. Joey has held various roles at different companies, starting with Goldman Sachs in 2007 as an Analyst. Joey then worked at Creative Artists Agency as an Assistant in Business Development in 2010. Joey returned to Goldman Sachs in 2014 as an Associate in TMT Investment Banking. In 2015, they joined IFTTT as a Manager in Partnerships. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Senior Manager in Business Development at MuleSoft. Joey was then promoted to Director of Business Development and later became the Senior Director of Corporate Development & Strategy at MuleSoft from 2020 to 2023. During their tenure at MuleSoft, Joey successfully negotiated and executed strategic partnerships, investments, and acquisitions. Joey led the "build/buy/partner" strategy for MuleSoft's product and engineering organization and executed the MuleSoft ISV technology partner program. Joey personally signed and executed partnerships with over 40 enterprise software companies, which resulted in delivering over $15 million in annual contract value. Joey also led significant transactions, including the strategic partnership and $290 million Series B funding round for Automation Anywhere, the acquisition and integration of Servicetrace, and the strategic partnership and $10 million Series B funding round for Apromore. Joey'swork experience demonstrates their expertise in partnerships, investments, acquisitions, and strategy development. Currently, Joey Khalid serves as the Vice President of Partnerships & Corporate Development at Apromore.

Joey Khalid started their education at Stuyvesant High School, although the specific years are unknown. After completing high school, they attended Harvard University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained an A.B. degree in Government. Following that, they pursued further education at New York University School of Law from 2010 to 2014 and earned a Juris Doctor degree. Additionally, during their time at NYU, they also attended the NYU Stern School of Business from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree.
