Daniel Ballif has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Daniel started as a Supervising Security Officer at the Brigham Young University Police Department in 2015, where they managed officer scheduling and participated in the hiring process. In 2017, they transitioned to Brigham Young University as a Research Assistant, working on grant proposals and researching pluripotent stem cells.

In 2019, Daniel took on a Facilities Engineering Internship at Siltronic AG, a silicon wafer manufacturer. In this role, they collaborated with engineers from different departments on projects related to water filtration and wastewater treatment.

Daniel's next position was as a Research Assistant at the Woolley Research Group at Brigham Young University from 2017 to 2020. Here, they fabricated microfluidic lab-on-a-chip devices and researched their application in biomarker testing for pre-term birth. Daniel also analyzed data from experiments and tests to determine resin component properties.

Most recently, Daniel joined APSI Wifi Services LLC. in 2020 as a Software Developer.

Throughout their career, Daniel has acquired skills in research, data analysis, project coordination, and technical engineering, showcasing their adaptability and versatility in various roles.

Daniel Ballif earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University, completing their studies from 2015 to 2020. Daniel also obtained several certifications, including the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2022, the SAChE Certificate - Process Safety Level 1 from the AIChE - American Institute of Chemical Engineers in August 2018, and the Learning Jenkins certificate from LinkedIn in February 2022. Additionally, they completed a C++ NanoDegree from Udacity in January 2022 and completed a series of three introductory courses on Object-Oriented Programming with Java from edX. The certificates for these courses were obtained in August, October, and December 2022 respectively.
