Oscar Martinez Tirado

Oscar Martinez Tirado's work experience began in 1996 as a predoctoral researcher at Hospital Universitario Vall d'Hebrón. From 2002 to 2007, they worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. In 2007, they joined IDIBELL as the Head of the Sarcoma Research Group. Most recently, in 2020, they co-founded Aptadel Therapeutics and took on the role of Founder and Scientific Advisor in 2021.

Oscar Martinez Tirado pursued their education in the field of science and pharmacy. Oscar completed their undergraduate studies at the Facultad de Farmacia, Universidad de Barcelona from 1989 to 1995, obtaining a degree in Pharmacy. Following this, they enrolled at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona from 1996 to 2001, where they pursued a Doctorate in Biochemistry with a specialization in Reproduction and Molecular Biology.
