Nigel Hough

Nigel Hough is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Manager at Aptem since August 2023. Previously, Nigel held the position of Lead Software Engineer at Xtremepush from December 2021 to August 2023, where involvement in an Agile scrum team focused on developing features for a Customer Data and Engagement Platform was key, along with serving as a scrum master. From January 2015 to December 2021, Nigel worked as Principal Software Engineer at WorkForce Software, leading a software engineering discipline of over 60 engineers and supporting agile scrum teams. During this tenure, a two-year secondment to Sydney allowed Nigel to lead a local engineering team and enhance recruiting efforts. Earlier career roles included Senior Software Engineer, Software Team Leader, and Lead Developer across various companies starting from 2006, with a foundational academic background in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Derby.
