Senior Director Of Software Engineering at aptitude LLC

Kemi Ibitayo has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Kemi started in 1998 at Sprint Nextel as a Senior Software Engineer and later became a Technical Architect. During their time at Sprint, they played a key role in designing and implementing architecture solutions and mentoring development teams. Kemi then worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Verizon Wireless, where they provided support for the Network API program.

In 2013, Kemi founded their own company, IT+ASSIST, before joining aptitude LLC in 2014 as an Application Architect. In this role, they led the implementation of development best practices and operational solutions. Kemi also contributed to the reorganization of the technology team as the Director of Software Engineering, where they led the architecture of a migration to Amazon Web Services.

In 2020, Kemi took on the role of Executive Director at Route360, a non-profit organization focused on driving economic advancement for underprivileged individuals. Recently, they returned to aptitude LLC as the Senior Director of Software Engineering, overseeing the software development process and promoting growth within the team.

Kemi Ibitayo obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Software Engineering from St. Mary's University, where they studied from 1995 to 1998.
