Ryan Byrd

Ryan Byrd has extensive work experience in technology and executive roles. Ryan is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Aptive Environmental, where they are responsible for all aspects of software product development. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Entrata, a multi-family housing software and technology company. In this role, they led the development of technology across various products and teams. Before Entrata, Ryan worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Fringe Media, where they oversaw the development of ecommerce logistics and warehousing SAAS products. Additionally, they have held technology leadership positions at Basic Research, VO Media, and Remedy Informatics. Ryan also has experience in academia, having worked as an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at Utah Valley University. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Embedded Systems Software Engineer at L-3 Communications and as a Senior Consulting Software Engineer at Emida.

Ryan Byrd received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University, which they attended from 1996 to 2001. Later, from 2005 to 2007, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, specializing in the field of Business. In addition to their formal education, Ryan obtained certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in September 2015 and ITIL v3 Foundations from the Office of Government Commerce in October 2012.
