Elder Arias

Elder Arias has a diverse work experience in the field of network engineering and communications. Elder started their career at ShoreGroup in 2005, where they held various roles including Cisco Unified Communications Engineer and Team Lead - Senior UC Engineer. In these roles, they provided remote support for VOIP networks, configured and troubleshooted Cisco systems and gateways, and addressed voice quality issues. Elder also worked as a Cisco MAP Application Engineer and Cisco IPT Deployment Engineer at ShoreGroup. In 2016, they joined Optanix as a Team Lead - Senior UC Engineer, where they served until 2019. Currently, they are working at AQR Capital Management as a Vice President in Network Engineering.

Elder Arias pursued their education starting in 2001 at BOCES, where they studied Microcomputer Technology until 2003. Following this, they attended The College of Westchester from 2003 to 2005, majoring in Computer Networking. In 2022, they obtained a certification in Data Visualization and Analytics from the University of Minnesota.
