William Labasi-Sammartino

William Labasi-Sammartino has a diverse range of work experience. William started their career as a Research Assistant at IEDM - MEI in 2016. William then worked as a Business Development Associate at PitchBook Data in 2017. In 2018, they held two positions, first as a Summer Analyst at Cornerstone Research and then as a Research Assistant at Columbia University in the City of New York. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Analyst at Cornerstone Research. Currently, they are working as a Portfolio Implementation Analyst (Macro) at AQR Capital Management starting from July 2022.

William Labasi-Sammartino obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Mathematics from Columbia University in 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Sciences Po in 2017. William received a Bilingual Diploma with an International Baccalaureate from Upper Canada College in 2015. In their earlier years, they attended College Jean-Eudes from 2008 to 2013. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Economics at the University of Chicago, specializing in the M.A. (MAPSS) program, starting in 2021 and expected to finish in 2022.
