Ed Kolodziej Jr.

Ed Kolodziej Jr. has extensive work experience in the water, energy, and utility industries. Ed recently retired as the President and COO of Aqua Ohio Inc., the largest non-municipal water and wastewater utility in Ohio. During their time at Aqua Ohio, they successfully transformed the organization, doubling the business and driving legislative efforts for long-term success.

Prior to Aqua Ohio, Ed served as the Senior VP at Hase-Schannen Research Associates, where they delivered market research-based solutions for various industries. Ed also worked as the VP at TRC, leading the research practice focused on energy and utility-related industries.

Ed's career began at GPU Energy in 1975, where they held the position of Director, overseeing various functions within the company. Ed was also a member of the Senior Leadership Team, providing cross-functional support across the operating utilities.

Additionally, Ed has contributed to the water industry through their role as the Customer Service Committee Chair at AWWA, serving from 2009 to 2011.

Ed Kolodziej Jr. attended Drexel University from 1970 to 1975, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Commerce, and Engineering. Ed then pursued further education at Drexel University from 1978 to 1982, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Economics. Later, from 1982 to 1990, they completed a post-graduate program at Drexel University, focusing on Marketing and Organizational Behavior.
