Nadia Menezes has a strong background in legal counsel and consultancy. Nadia currently holds the position of General Counsel at Aquamarine Capital since April 2020. In addition, they are also working as a Consultant at Azur Consultancy (BVI) since the same time. Prior to these positions, they worked as Counsel at HARNEY WESTWOOD & RIEGELS from July 2017 to March 2020. Nadia also had a significant tenure at Appleby, serving as Counsel from August 2011 to June 2016. Before that, they worked as a Senior Associate at Ogier from March 2006 to May 2011. Nadia began their career as an Associate at Mayer Brown from September 2001 to December 2005.
Nadia Menezes earned a diploma in Fund Administration from The University of Manchester's Manchester Business School & CLT in 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in European Union Law from KU Leuven in 2000. Additionally, Nadia obtained their Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) degree, with a focus on Law and Psychology, from Keele University in 1999. During their time at Keele, they participated in an exchange program at The University of British Columbia in 1997 to further their studies in Law and Psychology. In addition to their formal education, Nadia obtained a Diploma in Fund Administration from CLT International/University of Manchester Business School in November 2011.
