Sylvain Barjon

Sylvain Barjon is an experienced Application Process Engineer currently working at Aquaporin A/S since May 2023. Prior to this role, Sylvain served as a Senior Bio-Process Engineer at Chr. Hansen from September 2021 to May 2023, focusing on supporting daily production in a Pilot Plant and optimizing existing bio-processes. Sylvain has a background in academia, having managed the Pilot Plant at the Department of Food Science, University of Copenhagen, from February 2018 to August 2021, where responsibilities included developing the organization for dairy and brewery processes and teaching membrane process modules. Earlier experience includes leading a technological and process engineering team at Groupe SAVENCIA, project management for a biogas production site at Ferme de La Tremblaye, and serving as a process engineer in the dairy industry. Sylvain holds a Master's degree in Process Engineering applied to Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy.
