Xiting Zhang

Xiting Zhang is a dedicated professional engaged as a Membrane Researcher at Aquaporin A/S since August 2023, focusing on advanced research for next-generation membranes aimed at water treatment using sustainable materials. As an Industrial PhD Student and Research Engineer at the National University of Singapore since June 2022, Xiting Zhang has planned and executed research projects on algae management and metal extraction, while also managing laboratory procurement and liaising with external partners for project construction. Prior experience includes an internship in Facilities Management at the National Parks Board, where Xiting Zhang contributed to environmental sustainability assessments and initiated a water quality improvement project in the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering and current pursuit of a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the National University of Singapore.
