Amanda Yahaya is an experienced Program Officer at Aquaya, focusing on water safety plan evaluations and stakeholder engagement for the USAID Rural Evidence and Learning for Water initiative. Prior to this, Amanda served as a Programme Associate at UNDP, where responsibilities included planning, implementation, and evaluation of disaster risk management programs. Amanda also held roles as a Green Growth Analyst and African Young Women Leadership Fellow managing the Ecobrigade project under the YouthConnekt Initiative. Earlier experience includes research as a Graduate Student Researcher at IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, environmental monitoring at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research in Ghana, and quality assurance internships with the Food and Drugs Authority in Ghana. Amanda holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science from IHE Delft, a Certificate in Entrepreneurship Essentials from Harvard Business School Online, and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
