Steve Hastings

Steve Hastings is a highly experienced professional in strategic portfolio and program management, currently serving as the Head of Strategic Portfolio at Aquila Air Traffic Management Services since July 2023. Prior to this role, Steve held various senior positions at QinetiQ, including Senior Portfolio Manager for UK Defence and Senior Programme Manager for Maritime & Land, among others. Steve’s extensive background in project and operations management is complemented by significant experience in the Royal Navy, where responsibilities included operations officer and principal warfare officer roles. Additional experience includes positions at Babcock International Group, Carnival UK, and Marks and Spencer, as well as a foundation in financial operations management. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham.
