Brigid Avery has a diverse work experience background. From 2000 to 2004, they worked as an Admissions Representative at Aquinas College, where they represented the college at various events and maintained communication with applicants and parents. Brigid then moved to High Tech High in 2006, serving as a Development Officer responsible for managing fundraising campaigns. In 2008, they returned to Aquinas College as the Director of Alumni Engagement and later took on the role of Internship Coordinator. From 2016 onwards, they transitioned to the role of Director of Career Engaged Learning, focusing on assisting students and alumni with career services and managing the internship program. Additionally, in 2013, they founded The Local Curb, a mobile app aimed at making mealtime easier for families.
Brigid Avery completed their High School Diploma at Regina High School in 1996. Brigid went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Aquinas College - Grand Rapids in 2001. In 2006, they obtained a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the University of San Diego. Additionally, in 2015, Brigid completed an Advanced Improv program at Civic Theatre.
