Muhammad Fachri

Muhammad Fachri is a seasoned geoscientist currently serving as a Senior Geoscientist at ARA Petroleum Exploration and Production since November 2021, a role previously held from January 2015 to August 2020. Fachri has academic experience as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Sharjah (September 2020 - August 2021) and has held positions as a Senior Geologist at Statoil and a Staff Geologist at Weatherford Petroleum Consultants AS. Fachri's expertise includes designing integrated workflows for geological and reservoir simulation models, conducting uncertainty analysis, and generating regional reservoir models. With an academic foundation comprising a Ph.D. in Earth Science focused on Reservoir Modeling from the University of Bergen, along with Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Geology and Geophysics from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Fachri combines extensive research and practical experience in the geoscience field.
