Hasibur Rahaman

Hasibur Rahaman has a diverse work experience spanning several research positions. Hasibur is currently a Principal Scientific Manager at Aragen Life Sciences, a position they started in July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Biocon Bristol-Myers Squibb Research Center (BBRC) in Syngene International Ltd, where they held various roles including Principal Investigator, Senior Research Investigator, and Research Investigator from 2013 to 2022. Before their time at BBRC, Hasibur worked as a Postdoc at Gakushuin University from 2011 to 2013, focusing on asymmetric organic transformations. Hasibur also held a Postdoc position at the University of Jyväskylä from 2009 to 2011, where their research centered around the design and synthesis of organocatalysts.

Hasibur Rahaman completed their Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune from 2002 to 2008. Prior to their doctoral studies, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry (SPL-organic) from Visva-Bharati, from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) (Chemistry-Hon) degree from The University of Burdwan, although the specific start and end year for this degree are unknown.
