Prithiba Mitra

Prithiba Mitra is an accomplished scientific manager with extensive experience in leading research teams within the life sciences and agrochemical sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Scientific Manager at Aragen Life Sciences since September 2022, Prithiba leads multiple full-time equivalent (FTE) collaborations. Prior roles include Principal Research Scientist at Syngenta, where leadership was provided for a team of eight FTEs focused on the small-scale synthesis of agrochemical compounds, and Research Investigator at Syngene International Limited, overseeing a project on the synthesis of flavor and fragrance compounds. The academic background includes a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and previous research positions at the University of Kentucky, where significant contributions to natural product isolation and synthesis were made, including a US patent for drug development against Ewing sarcoma.
