Vikas Katial

Vikas Katial has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Vikas currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of the Cell Culture Unit at Aragen Life Sciences. Prior to this, they held positions at various prominent companies, including Syngene International Limited, Mylan, NNE Pharmaplan, Panacea Biotec Ltd, Wockhardt, Ranbaxy Laboratories, and Hindustan Antibiotics Ltd. Throughout their career, they have taken on leadership roles in biologics manufacturing operations, process and validation, and technical services. Vikas has been responsible for successfully obtaining FDA and EMEA approvals for commercial manufacturing operations.

Vikas Katial's education history begins with their attendance at the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India - ICWAI, where they completed their ICWA - Intermediate degree in 1996. Prior to this, they pursued a Master's in Management Studies (MMS) at Pune University from 1992 to 1995, specializing in Finance. Before their postgraduate studies, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biochemical Engineering from HBTI Kanpur, which they completed from 1988 to 1991.
