Stephen Oliver

Stephen Oliver, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the fields of building energy modelling and sustainable architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Developer at arbnco since November 2008, Stephen has been instrumental in developing industry standards for the Energy Act 2011. Additionally, Stephen holds positions as a Research Associate at Teesside University and as a Review Editor for the Smart and Sustainable Built Environment Journal. Prior experience includes a researcher role at the University of Strathclyde, focusing on the integration of BIM with virtual and augmented reality in construction. An accomplished academic, Stephen holds a PhD in Construction from Teesside University and has previously earned an MPhil in Architecture, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainability and Environmental Studies from the University of Strathclyde, alongside an HND in Computer Aided Draughting and Design from Forthvalley College.
