Mackenzie Arias has gained extensive work experience in various roles throughout their career. In 2012, they began their professional journey as a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard at New York Sports Club, where they worked until 2015. Mackenzie then took on the role of Unit Leader at Camp Lou Henry Hoover, where they developed schedules for a unit consisting of children and staff members. As a Swim Instructor at The Gateway Family YMCA from 2015 to 2020, they conducted small group and private lessons for children and young adults, ensuring their safety in the water. Mackenzie then transitioned to Erickson Senior Living in 2020, where they served as an Activities Assistant II until 2021. At Brookdale, they worked as the Clare Bridge Program Coordinator/Manager from 2021 until 2022. Currently, Mackenzie holds the position of Engagement Director at The Arbor Company, starting in 2022. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to the well-being of others.

Mackenzie Arias, CALA, holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Kean University, which was completed between 2014 and 2018. Prior to their university education, Mackenzie obtained their high school diploma from West Milford High School in the years 2010 to 2014.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Mackenzie has obtained certifications in Assisted Living Administration from the NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES in May 2021, and in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED with Waterfront skills from the American Red Cross in June 2016.
