Noah Vihinen has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Noah started their career as a Software Engineer at IBM in 1999, where they worked on various utility projects to improve efficiency in the semiconductor foundry department. Following this, they joined Mirror Image as a Software Engineer and was responsible for designing and maintaining software configuration management tools.

In 2003, Noah joined Maven Networks as a Senior Software Engineer, where they created a platform for video content ingestion, management, and delivery. Noah also led a team of developers, utilizing agile development methods to meet aggressive deadlines. During the Yahoo! acquisition talks, they presented the Maven Content Management System Architecture.

Noah then worked at Yahoo! as a Senior Technical Yahoo, where they architected and developed components for the Yahoo! Video Platform. Noah also played a key role in dealing with the architecture of overlapping components with Maven's technology.

From 2011 to 2013, Noah worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Bluefin Labs (acquired by Twitter), where they developed software for analyzing audience response to TV using social media. Noah also led the rebuild of the Bluefin Analytics application and rewrote the television program guide ingestion process for scalability.

At Twitter, Noah served as a Senior Software Engineering Manager from 2013 to 2017. Noah played a significant role in bringing video to Twitter and led the team through the launch of various video-related features and programs.

In 2017, Noah joined Toast, Inc. as the Senior Director of Engineering. Here, they focused on helping restaurant guests order food through online platforms and mobile apps. Noah built and scaled the team, mentored individuals, and led resilience initiatives during the pandemic.

Most recently, Noah has been working as a Technical Advisor, immersing himself in climate tech and the energy transition. Noah'sgoal is to contribute to the development of technical innovations and make a meaningful impact on slowing climate change.

Currently, Noah holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at Arbor, an energy startup dedicated to accelerating the transition to clean energy. Noah'srole involves driving the technological aspects of the company and working towards a faster uptake of clean energy solutions.

Noah Vihinen attended the University of Vermont from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business.
