Dana Ottaviani

Dana Ottaviani has a diverse work experience in the field of development and technology. Dana started their career as an Apprentice Developer at Independent Software in June 2016. Later, they worked as a Mathematics Tutor at the University of Hartford from September 2014 to December 2014.

In 2016, Dana joined the University of Hartford again, this time as a Computer Science Tutor where they assisted students in introductory computer programming and web development courses. Dana also worked at Reality Interactive as a Software Developer (Level 1 Developer) from June 2017 to April 2019, where they developed desktop applications and implemented various technologies such as HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, NodeJS, VueJS, Bootstrap, Pug, and used AWS SDK for sending gzips to S3 bucket and extracting data.

From April 2018 to September 2018, Dana worked at Tweaked Productions as an Intern - Lead Roboticist/Lead Animator, where they utilized existing robotics and completed cel animation.

In 2019, Dana joined SpringboardVR as a Frontend Developer (Full Time Contractor), where they worked from October 2019 to February 2020.

In 2021, Dana worked at Osano as a Growth Engineer from January 2021 to March 2021, contributing to their data privacy platform.

Currently, they are employed at ArborXR, starting as a Frontend Developer (Full Time Contractor) from July 2021 to December 2021, and then transitioning to the role of Frontend Developer II from January 2022.

Throughout their career, Dana has gained expertise in frontend development, utilizing technologies such as Vue 3, TypeScript, GraphQL, and has experience with data privacy laws compliance.

Dana Ottaviani completed their Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science (B.S.) and Mathematics (B.A.) from the University of Hartford from 2012 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Dana obtained several certifications. Dana earned the certification in "React - The Complete Guide (incl Hooks, React Router, Redux)" from Udemy in June 2020. In May 2019, they completed the certification in "Vue JS 2 - The Complete Guide (incl. Vue Router & Vuex)" also from Udemy. In August 2018, Dana obtained the certification in "Vue JS 2.0 - Mastering Web Apps" from Udemy. Furthermore, they became an A100 Certified Developer in September 2016 from Independent Software.
