Bill Cooper

Mr. Cooper has more than 35 years of experience in the Power Generation Industry in engineering and leadership roles working for Utilities and Original Equipment Manufacturers.

Mr. Cooper’s utility career began at NB Power as a Plant Design Engineer and developed into a Senior Technical Specialist at the Point Lepreau NGS. Then working at Ontario Power Generation, he implemented engineering programs at the Bruce, Darlington, and Pickering NGSs.

Mr. Cooper worked at AECL, the original designer of CANDU®, as the Equipment & Components Technical Manager for the Cernavoda NGS Project. Then at AREVA - Framatome, he expanded his expertise in areas of PWR, BWR, PHWR & HTGR technologies and innovations. Mr. Cooper held the positions of Senior Project Manager, Director of Strategic Planning and Project Development, President & Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Technology Officer.
