GM, Brand Development at Arcaea

Ashley Souza has worked in brand development for over ten years. Ashley started their career at Crabtree & Evelyn, where they served as Chief Brand Officer from February 2017 to April 2022. In this role, Ashley was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the brand, including product development, marketing, and sales.

In September 2015, Ashley joined Patchology as Director of Product Development. In this role, they worked with marketing to create and refine a highly differentiated, multi-year new product pipeline that drives a steady flow of newsworthy product launches in all stages from concept to on-counter. Ashley also conducted market, competitive, and consumer research to determine product/market fit for new product concepts. Additionally, they managed and drove all clinical testing needs to support product launches with robust and innovative claims.

In their current role as GM of Brand Development at Arcaea, Ashley is responsible for leading the brand team in developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive brand awareness and growth. Under their leadership, the Arcaea brand has seen significant growth and recognition.

Ashley Souza is a fashion makeup artist who attended Make-up Designory for their training. Ashley also has a degree in Communications/Public Relations from Bridgewater State University.

They are on a team with Jennifer Cookson - Director of Formulation Development, Mary Ma - VP of Growth, and Jaide Jensen - Head of Biotechnology. Ashley Souza reports to Jasmina Aganovic, CEO.
