Lesley Ramela

Lesley Ramela is a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer currently employed at ArcelorMittal South Africa since August 2021, serving as an Asset Management Specialist and GMR 2.1 Appointee. Previously, Lesley held the position of Works Manager at AfriSam from September 2016 to November 2023, including a role as Acting Works Manager at AfriSam Ferro Quarry, and served as Maintenance Superintendent at the Jukskei aggregate quarry. Prior experience includes serving as Operations Superintendent and Operations Specialist at Samancor Chrome, managing a substantial workforce and overseeing production and maintenance activities in various capacities. Lesley holds a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
